Holiday Adventures

BJAMS has had yet another great Christmas.  Lots of things to be so very thankful for!
We decided to make our Christmas trip to the cottage early this year, which was really nice.  We had a full weekend with Grampie and auntie.  Annika even got to go pottery painting with Auntie!  We returned home on Christmas Eve and had our usual Christmas eve party with nana, papa, uncle Dave and aunt Jenn.  The girls got SPOILED!  Christmas morning was just BJAMS and nana papa came for the afternoon and dinner.  Looking forward to a quiet New Years with James and the girls :)
Can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for BJAMS!  Wishing health, happiness, peace and love to my family and friends ♥

James and I just got back from an absolutely fantastic getaway in Vegas.  We missed our girls like crazy and we’re happy to be back, but it was the perfect little trip for us.  Three nights and four days of non-stop sensory overload.  The hotels are absolutely stunning, the strip is crazy and the 1/2 marathon was brutally great.  I was able to run about 12km until my legs decided that they’d had enough, and the last 8-9km was an extremely slow shuffly walk…one in which I have never experienced so much agony from the waist down.  James was amazing and somehow mustered up enough patience to stay with me the entire time, and pretty much drag me across the line, forcing me to break the 3 hour mark….which we did…somehow….2:59:53!  With only about 5 runs under my belt in the last two years, I’ll take it!The food we ate was incredible.  One meal a day with snacks in between was all we needed.  The best Greek food both James and I had ever eaten was our post-race dinner..YUMMY!  The fish was …

Santa’s message

This is Annika’s stunned reaction to Santa’s personal message to her….he even had a picture of her and knows how old she is! Thanks to Auntie Steph for finding the message ;)

Selena birthday could be defined simply as extreme chaos….even though it was just my parents over, it seems that the norm now at BJAMS is nonstop craziness.  The pictures don’t do it justice…..She loves her bags…Selena knows that candles are hot….so she was very concernedall of selena’s birthday goodiesbirthday number 2 that we celebrated this weekend was Karsten’s 21st!Karsten’s alias….
