Dancing Girls and Flower Power
Annika completed her Grade 1 Syllabus Ballet Exam last week. She gets her exam mark this week. Her ballet teacher has been preparing the girls all year for this day. The judges are faculty of the Cecchetti Society of Canada. Cecchetti is a method of ballet taught by certified teachers. One day, Annika could apply to accept a high school credit for her Ballet efforts. It’s difficult to pass exams, but we’re excited to see Annika’s results!
Of course, her sister was there to cheer her on and calm the nerves
This weekend was Picture Day Fun!
Annika’s good friend from school, Lily, who will sadly be moving away at the end of the month.
Our second ballerina princess xo
Star material right here….
Annika was part of one recreational class this year (acro). This class opens the show on June 24th! And Selena’s tap class (above picture) closes the show. Looking so forward to seeing our tiny dancers on stage. They’ve put an incredible amount of hours and hard work in over the past 9 months. Willy Wonky’s show looks like it will not disappoint!
Onto my recent blooms in the garden – this round two (spring blooms have come and gone already…)
And, it’s totally not a PD day until Papa takes the girls somewhere… Friday was a trip to Dragonfly Park! Although my dad is still suffering through the effects of peripheral neuropathy, he never lets his girls down. He’s an amazing Papa
