Halloween and Birthday Boy
We all had yet another fun halloween and got to spoil the birthday boy. Since James’ birthday evening will, for the next many years, be trick-or-treating with the girls, I’ve decided to start a tradition of taking him out for a birthday brunch before the halloween festivities kick into full gear.
Cornerstone downtown is a unique little cozy restaurant. A great place to kick off a birthday!
Annika and Selena dressed up twice – first in their Dutch dressed and horned helmet hats for school and daycare.
….then, to Little Red Riding Hood and Lady Bug (Selena wasn’t feeling the kitty cat costume I bought for her this year…so decided that last year’s costume was best). And pretty little mermaid Emma came for the fun too!
Papa braved the cold with them too!
Stealing Ryan Power’s homemade Lego Man costume!
Our neighbours Evan and Megan
Doc McStuffins and Red Riding Hood
Got some good remarks from some of our trick-or-treaters… some thought we actually lived in a haunted house!
Not even noticing the rain and freezing temps!
